When is the best time to visit Gujarat and what is the weather like?

Things to do in Kutch Bhuj:

Salt Marshes in Great Rann of Kutch, White Desert in Bhuj:

Part of this Rann is located in India while part is in Pakistan's Sindh region. It covers approximately 7,500 square kilometers of land in India, making it one of the world's largest salt deserts. The Great and Little Rann of Kutch are separated into two sections, and have the Banni Grasslands to the south. Rann Mahotsav or Rann Utsav, organised by Gujarat Tourism, is a spectacular winter gathering. On a beautiful autumn night with a fully visible Moon, it's a magical experience. It will take place from November 1st, 2021, to February 28th, 2022 for Kutch Rann Utsav 2021-22. The event will take place in Dhordo. Over 400 air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned tents make up the festival's final destination by The Tent City. Dhordo is a tiny town near Bhuj that is easily accessible from Bhuj's international airport. The lodging is divided into two phases: Phase 1 and Phase 2. The tent city is the first phase, while the White Rann resort is the second. Both Rann Utsav phase 1 and Rann Utsav phase 2 are offered at the finest price. The island of Beyt is located on the mouth of the Gulf of Kutch, with many temples, white sand beaches and coral reefs around the island, the main reason of the region's tourism. The most popular attractions on the beach are dolphin spotting, marine tours, beach campings, picnics and much more. One of the most exciting activities on the island is marine camping. On the northeast side of the island lies a base camp. It has an abundance of marine and sea life, including sponges, jelly fish, coral, molluscs, marine plants, sea stars, bristles, barnacles, sea-snakes, crab, starfish, sea-quacao and other such things. It contains a wealth of marine and marine species. Kutch Bustard Sanctuary

Shri Swaminarayan (also known as Akshardham Temple) is a temple devoted to Narayan Dev, located in the Ahmedabad Kalupur neighbourhood. In 1822, following Swaminarayan's directions, founder of the Swaminarayan sect, this beautiful temple was erected. The Swami Narayan Temple may be reachable using car rickshaws, buses and taxis near the eastern section of the Old Town. The best time to visit the temple are at 8:00 in the morning to see the prayer services in the morning. The temple offers its tourists A.C. guest rooms.

Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad:

It is located 5 kilometres north of Ahmedabad's centre, on a calm and scenic stretch of the Sabarmati River. It is said that Mahatma Gandhi picked this location because it is situated between a jail and a graveyard, and a Satyagrahi is likely to end up in one of them. Kankaria Lake, historically known as Hauz-e-Qutub, is Ahmedabad's second biggest lake. The week-long Kankaria Carnival is Ahmedabad's most anticipated celebration, promising to be engaging and thrilling. Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad:

The Sabarmati Riverfront is roughly 3 to 4 kilometres from the city centre. The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (Ahmedabad International Airport) is around 10 kilometres from the riverside and can be reached in 15 to 25 minutes by car. It is 4 to 5 kilometres from the Ahmedabad Railway Station, which takes 12 to 20 minutes by cab or self-drive. Historical Retreat in Dandi

Dandi has a significant historical importance in India's battle for independence from British rule. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi organised the Dandi March, also known as the Salt March, as an act of civil disobedience in colonial India. The perfect time to visit Dandi Beach is between October and March, when the weather is nice. Seating arrangements have also been built for those who wish to take in the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea without having to go on the beach. Vadla & Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary

"The Adi kadi Vav" and "Navghan Kuwo"

The Adi kadi Vav and Navghan Kuwo are two well-known stepwells within Uparkot Fort. While the former was erected by two Chudasama slave females, the latter was created considerably before the Adi-kadi Vav. The Adikadi Vav is a 9 layered step well dating back to the 1400s.

Things to do in Junagadh:

Admire Mohabbat Maqbara's Architectural at Junagadh.

It is also known by the name of Bahaduddnbhai mausoleum Hasainbhai. Mohabbat Maqbara is one of the most famous Junagarh attractions. This monument is a one-of-a-kind example of Indo-Islamic and Gothic architecture, with exquisitely constructed arches, complex stone carvings on the walls and windows, silver-decorated entrances, winding stairs around its four towering minarets, an old stepwell in the gardens, and an onion-shaped dome. Jama Masjid is also close. The Mahabat Maqbara stands out in the middle of the city.

Edicts of Ashoka in Junagadh:

The Ashoka Edicts are kept in a small white structure at the foot of Mount Girnar. The railway is the most convenient way to go to Junagadh. Junagadh junction is on the Ahmadabad – Veraval line, making it conveniently accessible from cities around the area and nation. Junagadh is around 327 kilometres from Ahmadabad. Because Ashoka's rock edicts are located in a dry, hilly location, winter is the best season to visit. Summers offer high heat, making sightseeing difficult, while the wet season generates slippery rocks. If you are visiting during the winter, remember to dress comfortably yet warmly. Trekking at Bhujia Hill

Bhujia Hill, which overlooks the lovely town, is a remarkable natural structure that is revered for its religious and historical significance. To reach the summit of the hill, at least 200 stairs must be climbed. The Bhujia Fort was constructed in the early 1700s atop the Bhujia Hill. The Bhujang Nag temple holds the renowned annual Nag Panchami celebration, which draws a large number of worshippers. This festival, held during the Hindu month of Shravana, is also a colourful celebration recalling the day the Chhatri was created.

Kutch Fossil Park in Bhuj

Mohan Singh Sodha, an Army veteran and avid fossil collector, founded the Kutch Fossil Park in 2002. These fossils, which now take up almost two entire rooms, range from fruits and animals to jewels and even a dinosaur's egg! The park also includes a number of other Jurassic-era artefacts.

Naida Caves in Diu

Naida Caves is a popular tourist destination for a walker, a history lover or a photographer, but is equally delightful. There are cars to this place, Naida Caves is not far from Diu Town. The distance to Diu Fort is three km.

Diu Fort in Diu

The castle is located on the southern tip of Gujarat, near the mouth of the Khambhat Gulf, known in Portugal as the 'Praça de Diu.' The Church of St. Francis of Assisi is perched on a knoll. The church's layout is comparable to those of churches in Europe. St. Paul's Church was dedicated to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and was erected between 1601 and 1610. The Church of St. Thomas The church, which was built in 1598, is now a museum. Mass is only conducted once a year, on November 1st. The Nilkanteshwar Temple is located at Zadeshwar Chowkdi, some 13 kilometres from Kabirvad, on the banks of the Narmada River. This is a relatively modern temple located around 13 kilometres from Kabirvad, with exquisite carvings throughout the temple walls giving it the appearance of an older building. The Gayatri Mata Temple is another temple dedicated to Goddess Gayatri Mata, located 13 kilometres from Kabirvad on the banks of the Narmada River. A Maha Aarti is held once a year when 1000 diyas are lit and put adrift on the Narmada River, making it the most frequented period of the year. Narmada Park is a large garden on the Narmada river's coast, 13 kilometres from Kabirvad. It is ideal for a leisurely stroll in the evening, with views of the tranquil Narmada river and the upcoming Narmada bridge. The island is a paradise for nature lovers; take a walk around the region and spend your time beneath the cover of Banyan trees, or enjoy a picnic on the lawn. You may also swim in the Narmada river along the coast. The only way to get to the island is via boat, which takes about ten minutes from Kabirmadhi in the Shukaltirth region to Kabirvad.

Marine National Park
